What is Youth Alive?
Youth Alive is a staple in our SPY MINISTRIES
program. We meet every first Sunday of the month in our school
gym. Youth
Alive goes from 6-7:30pm. During this time we get to know each
other by doing some sort of group game, we then usually have a
time of worship with song and a Bible Study. This is meant to fulfill
the purposes of GATHERING in God’s name, GROWING in God’s
Word and GLORIFYING God. This is a great time to get to know people
within our ministry and hopefully meet new people along the way.
We also hope that this is a time that students are able to grow
in their faith by asking questions and digging into the Word of
God.
Worship is such a big part of our lives, in Romans
12:1-2 it says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's
mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing
to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform
any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve
what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." In
everything we do we glorify God and our Youth Alive is a time to
do just that Glorify God in our actions and our words and learn
how we can bring Him glory in all that we do throughout the week.
