St. Pauls Parent Teacher League

What Is the Parent Teacher League?

As an extension of the Day School Board, the Parent-Teacher League provides programs to educate parents and provide them with information on current issues or concerns. We also develope activities designed as entertainment to promote family participation and growth. At various times throughout the year we hold fund raisers to help purchase equipment and educational materials which would not otherwise be possible.

PTL Purpose

The purpose of this league shall be to aid parents and teachers in the Christian education of the students at St. Paul's Lutheran School.

In order to achieve this purpose, the league shall seek to:

  • Provide opportunities for parents to increasingly understand and appreciate their children.
  • Help develop a closer relationship between the home and the school, especially through closer cooperation between parents and teachers.
  • Support the mission of our teachers at St. Paul's Lutheran School in the Christian education of our children through our prayerful, and when possible, financial support.

PTL 2007 Project Calendar

Please review the list of projects below for the 2007 calendar year. If every parent commits to just one project we'll have more than enough PARENT POWER to accomplish all of the listed tasks and more -- so sign up now for a PTL event this year!!!

If you would like more information or would like to become more involved in PTL, please contact Cristin Kersten at 933-8965 or send an Email.

Reading Night (March 2, 2007)
Help us celebrate the Cat in the Hat's 50th Birthday!!! Come dressed as your favorite Dr. Seuss character and join in the festivities! We will have readings of several of Dr. Seuss's books. Make your own Seuss-style story or create a hat just like that cat! When you're finished, join us for some Dr. Seuss inspired snacks or a slice of birthday cake!

Spaghetti Supper (March 25, 2007)
Our most popular event! Come and help us make or serve spaghetti. A delicous meal while those attending are able to socialize with other families.

Mother/Son Bowling (April, 2007)
Hey Mom's, here's your opportunity to spend a fun filled time with your sons! Let's eat some pizza and have a 'ball' with the boys!

Teacher Appreciation Week (April 30-May 4, 2006)
Show your support and appreciation for your child's teacher and the work they have done with them this year. PTL provides breakfast daily and a thank you lunch for the teaching staff.

School Picnic (May 29, 2007)
Our last event of the school year. Come and help supervise a game or serve hot dogs as we help our students celebrate the end of another school year!
